CTheRain Posted May 20, 2022 Share Posted May 20, 2022 The current meta is so freaking stale because of the lack of counters to netguns and shadowmanes. Its dismount/root and you're just dead. It makes it so if you want to PVP at all you can really only use the shadowmane. I'm not suggesting a NERF except to the drag weight of the netgun and adding more dinos that are immune to the dismount similar to the Ferox. I can use a wyvern, dolphin or a flier. The cat somehow jumps and teleports nothing personal style into the stratosphere and dismounts me. The massive use of netguns has led to the netgun / tek rifle meta. Root then just kill. Its the combination of both the dismount and netgun. If you're facing 2 vs 1 even on a shadowmane you better be a literal elder god at the game to survive an encounter.
