Larkfields
>> Can I make ark servers on a hp proliant Yes 🙂 32GB RAM might be the limiting factor for you I've seen Genesis 2 use 12GB RAM at times. RAM use increases as people logon. Below is my server's task manager - there are approx 20 people logged in across all the maps.

Gelantious
I'd say it depends on how many players you'll have. If it's just a group of friends then go nuts. It'll be fine. Also how many and which maps you wanna run at a time. As Larkfields mentioned, gen 2 eats a lot of ram. the others less. But if you wanna run several at a time then you might wanna add more ram. But if you're gonna try and host for 50+ then you'll need something different.
