I have a couple of suggestions for Ark 2, with one being a feature and the other just more of a resolution to a gripe for Ark 1.
Firstly, I'd like to see a shoulder mount that uses the whistle commands (or a subset of them) to passive tame. Whistling is a core game mechanic in Ark 1, so it stand to reason that it can be used for this. It would work as a tutorial for early players. Even if the creature only offers a small utility, like flying away and creating a distraction for small predators, it would be a good taming mechanism that players would enjoy. A cute parrot that sits on your shoulder, can bring you berries and will passive flee if you're attacked would be fun for many players. If it also spoke your whistles when shoulder mounted, that would just be QoL icing.
The second note is to look into better snap points for certain structures, like triangle walls, so they can be used for decoration and structure. This note includes large ceiling hatchframes, which just don't line up with the 2x2 area you'd expect them to. Having to add mods to include things that should be considered on day one is just poor form, and we saw it get even worse with Adobe (one triangle wall for both left and right facing?). This would be so that triangle walls can be placed upside down, so the hypotenuse is below the horizontal edge.
