Zadira
There has been an ongoing bug with the dinos not following for several months now. I will whistle my tame to follow, we then attack something and they instantly stop following. This can end in disaster, especially in the Boss Battles. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Ark is about taming creatures and using them to help survive. If they do not listen to the whistles, the game is broken. Please, please, please fix this as soon as possible. wizard03
are you sure your whistling to all your tames and not just a set tame group? Try to clear your set taming group and see if that works.
Zadira
Nope, not whistling to set groups. I even saw Syntac having the same problem. Try it and see. I was in the desert looking for death worms and I would have my dinopithecus follow but as soon as it attacked anything, it stopped following. I will need to experiment again but so far I do know it is a problem with the new dinopithecus.
Volunteer Moderator GP Posted January 17, 2022 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted January 17, 2022 I believe this is specific only to Dinopithecus as far as I know. It should be easy to reproduce. But it is better if you report the bug through the bug channels: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/bugs/ Give them steps on how to reproduce it.
