Lunar biome survival with dino

Hey guys, so i play on pve server with enabled travelling to another maps. For long time i wanted Genesis dlc because well, who wouldnt. Finally bought it for christmas and i started farming as everybody expects, tamed some dinos and all these things. I wanted to tame some tek rexes for my boss army and went to my spot for rexes on the center lava island, where i tamed 174 male tek rex. I couldnt see any other female tek rex so i called it a day and went to my base on genesis 2, after some time i went back to look more and after an hour i still couldnt find anything. So i did think about going to Lunar biome on gen 1 with shadowmane, because i have one that was gifted to me. I was in Lunar before and i died everytime. So is it good idea to go to Lunar biome with 16k shadowmane and 450 dmg? I also have rock drake level 100 that i raise now. So should i wait for the rock drake or go now with shadow? Thanks for help.
