Community Crunch 293: Turkey Trial 5, Community Corner, and More!

Pretty certain in my case it's a server host thing but none of the unofficials are appearing on ps4. Anyone ever figure out a rough ETA for when the hosts actually update their servers post update release?

No mating interval timer reduction again. This is the third event in a row that I can remember now with no change for timers. How hard is it to change server settings?

Random wild dino's spawning in my water base scared all baby's and juvy's out of range of troth and they died im getting tired of these 7 year old bugs that get fixed then on every event return with a vengeance

I uploaded my character a few seconds before I got a (we're taking servers down for 15 minutes). Now all my characters are gone. 5 years of gameplay gone. I have put a ticket in on the matter but after a little research it seems bug reports are pointless so I guess this is farewell Ark. Time to enjoy bigger and better things.

Does this event cause Dinos that normally don't spawn on certain maps to spawn?

I have been playing on steam, yesterday after the update. I noticed that Giga's are spawning on Scorched Earth.

Is this supposed to happen in this event?

I’m playing on single player ps4 and have been to multiple different maps, I own all the dlc’s,  and flew all over and haven’t seen the first dang turkey.!!!! I’m beginning to think these turkeys don’t exist!!! What am I doing wrong? I’ve already done the update and have all the event features except the turkeys?????? Please help!! Also have a great holiday my fellow ARK people!!

This update has caused non-dedicated sessions everwhere to fail that are hosted on paid DLC maps, also see the forums and a number of bug reports. The usual methods of restoring game files re-installing the DLCs don't work in this case. Just a heads up!

Dear Team of Wildcard,

you've made a great game with Ark, but unfortunately you're also cutting into your own flesh.

You recruit new players and many are now starting to play on Gen2 servers, but it is doomed to failure right from the start at events, why? Tamecap! 

With the Strydern alias 20 animals you have also cut into your own flesh on Gen2. It would be great if you would lower it to 5-10. 

In the same way, you also set up the clone chambers at Farbevent, which I personally would not do that way. Players who like to clone can also do this at the weekend events and thus block places to tame again!

 

My question: Why did you bother with cryo and cryo chambers? Why did their dermis and pedestals come into play? In my opinion, clone chambers should be set to 20 pieces per tribe! It can't be that some players have set up more than 100 Cloone chambers! 

 

Please think of your new players or older players who like to tame and do not breed, clone etc. so much.

 

Please reduce Tek-Stryder, put a limit on clone chambers (20 pro Tribe)!

 

Thank you very much, I hope something is finally done with this beautiful game!

Hey it's not letting me submit a ticket but since the update if you run "Survive The Ark" mission on gen2 it rolls back the server on round 8 or 9 when the dodo round starts. Im playing on ps4/ps5 small tribes and it happens on more than one server.

Don’t worry if the people with too much time were coming for ark they already would have done so when they realized about 1000 pixel lives are ended each hour because mutations exist. If ur gonna get mad over this you might as well get mad over mutations “being offensive to people born missing limbs or were born with skin conditions” half the time, people who “are HoRrIbLy offended” don’t really care and make fun of this kind of stuff. Get over it.
