Breeding During The Event

Fear Evolved 5 will drop right in the middle of my meg breeding season. My question is not so much about the affect on breeding as it is on imprinting. If I remember correctly from other breeding buff events, my speeds will need to be adjusted. I think they mature too fast? Is this correct?

My previous experience in this event (Extralife) is that the maturation accelerates with the event but the imprinting time remains the same as outside the event.

The boosted maturation speed  will mess up the imprinting process if memory serves me correctly.  I seem to remember not being happy while failing to properly imprint Yuty. They take so much time to mature that if I had known in advance, I would have waited.

imprinting  is tuned to the maturation the only problem you can have is if you hatch your egg before the event it will be at 8hour while maturation will jump to 3x when the event start which can cause problem on fast maturing dino (like otters) but in general it doesn't affect the other dino because you can catch up time wasted later on 

last year  during the extra life event all my rex and giga were 100% imprinted before reaching 30% maturation

Yes, I remember it like that also, only pop your eggs at suited % event bonus. But the imprint-gain is sometimes waaay up. At 3x event, imprint-gain is like 6x. Where you normally would need 4 imprints, even with bonus, some dinos will get like 65% imprint in 1 cuddle.

I have seen that the maturation speed will instantly match the multiplier for the event. However, the imprinting will only go to the multiplier after the next imprint.

raise the dino until the imprint timer reaches zero, now pod the dino.

when the event starts unpod the dino and get instant multiplier imprint and have plenty of time left if you need another.
