Mutation that doesnt exist?

Can someone explain how this rex has 2 mutations more than its father, the difference between their levels is only 2, as if it only got one mutation. Their stats are same, exept for a visible health mutation. Is it posibble that it got a movement speed mutation, even though it is lvl 211 and it kept all the stats from its lvl 209 dad? The settings for dino stats are default, if it matters.

Assuming the mom has 0/40 markers; that baby got a mutation in health and a mutation in speed.

Best way to find out is use art smart breeder. Import both parents and then import the baby. Smart breeder will show you what mutated.

That being said, it is possible for a baby to get a mutation counter without the mutated stat being chosen for the baby. Based on the fact the baby only gained 2 levels over the dad, this is what I think happened.

People in the thread have a lot of great thoughts about this.  Remember, mutation counters are always passed on, even if the stats aren't passed from the mutated parent to child.  If you breed a 500/40 mutation male with 75 points in HP (assuming lot of redundant mutations!) with a 0/40 mutation female, and the baby gets the mom's 35 points in HP, it will still have 500/40 total mutations but only 35 points in HP.
