maxplanck58 Posted July 29, 2021 Share Posted July 29, 2021 Both Gen 1 and Gen 2 perform well and are reasonably stable on my PC laptop - a crash averaging every two weeks or so. Both were maps that I would have declared "worst ever" when I started, but I gave them a chance and I now think they are among the most creative and have the most diversity of experiences. As it has been said many times, Ark is what you make of it. But for those that have had unstable and crash-prone experiences on Gen 2, I totally understand your disappointment. Kobywan Posted August 3, 2021 Share Posted August 3, 2021 The server performance on Gen 2 server 1637 is the most buttock clinchingly piss-poor I have ever had the misfortune to experience. At the moment, I'm waiting for the game to recover from yet another crash and almost certain rollback. A very short time ago it crashed like this 14 times in an evening. I don't think 20 seconds passes without it boomeranging at the moment. As players., we invest so much time and energy in to this game and deserve better. Much better.
