Connection Timeout to every official server (steam pc)

Recommended Posts

As the tittle says, i can connect to unofficial servers pvp, pve battleye or not. The problem is when i try to join official servers game goes to loading screen, once it load PrimalGamedata_bp it goes back to server list screen and shows that connection timeout error.
Is there any way to get real support from wildcard ? all i get is an automated response tellin me to try all the steps i already tryied and if none of the above works "send the pc to a pc specialist" basically they told me to raptor off...
so my pc is ok, i did everything from verify files through steam, clearing download cache and updating everything to reinstall the game and now i reinstalled windows and the game again just to see im still getting the connection timeout. the only sucessfull workaround was to log in at my workplace so now i think that a hacker user somehow blacklisted my mac adress (just as gta online hackers does with firewall to disconect you from the game) is the only explanation i can find because game was working as fine as a official server can work and then after loged of as usual the game started with this connection timeout issue
wildcard customer support showed to be useless, does anyone know how to log in again ?

i have recommended specs, my connection isnt the best but i´ve been playing ark for weeks so i can still play every other online multiplayer and im having no issues with any internet browser or unofficial private ark server, its only about official servers and nope im not banned

EDIT: I "FIXED" THE PROBLEM BY REMOVING THE GAME FROM STEAM ACCOUNT(cause cant refund) AND HIDDIN THE GAME FROM THE STORE...
thanks to all those who answered

What might be the causes is basically excessive internet traffic, possibly even ddos attacks, in the internet pipeline between your computer, and the game server. It might be worth a call to your internet service provider, ask if there's anything they can do via remote configuration of e.g. your routers upstream channels, your ip address, etc.

that one did worked, but phone connection here is like internet in 1990.   not even an option, there must be a way to log in as usual before this timeout issue

it means you may have no problems, but the problem is with the internet provider
or the administrator (I do not know what this position is called) of the Internet provider of the host of game servers added many IP addresses (subnet) of your provider to the black list
your provider could have done the same by adding some of the ip addresses of the Wilcard servers
the above is real, since I encountered this 3 years ago, on that day I registered with this forum but did not receive help

use vpn or change internet provider these are the easiest ways

Not sure it's a issue with the provider as I've had this issue crop up with a single laptop and other computers on the network were still fine... idk that much about network trouble shooting. Hey there's an idea, run a network trouble shooter? lol

above it is written that he tried all the recommended remedies, but it did not help him, I had the same problem and was solved by changing the Internet provider, I also tried everything up to changing the computer and the Internet router, I emphasize that everything worked for me before I played if my memory doesn't let me down, then on the Aberration cutter, and so I was distracted from the game for 20 minutes and I was disconnected and then I could not enter the server, it was displayed for the first time, but after exiting the game it even stopped appearing in the server list, then all servers disappeared from the EU and NA were only Ocania servers and a couple of Asian servers, but there was a ping of 340 or more.

Once again, it only helped that I changed the provider, I called the provider's technical support several times, after my requests were not answered in Wilcard support for 2 weeks (by the way, there is still no answer other than the bot's answer that my request was accepted). At the moment I already knew that it was necessary to either use VPN or change the Internet provider, since a decent (in terms of stability and low ping) VPN cost from $ 40 per month and to change the provider $ 20, then the choice was obvious.
and yes, I checked the connectivity on a laptop with 6 of my neighbors with the same provider (I imagine how strange I looked for them) 5 for me they created a guest wifi through which I connected the result, too, the connection was broken or an invalid json token error popped up, the nearest neighbor to which I was fixing the computer, I connected the laptop through the wire and there was the same error (
I will repeat again, I tried everything from resetting the router settings to the factory settings, to reinstalling Windows, but nothing helped

ikr, i have no problem at all to change provider, i could change my entire computer if wildcard pays all...

so all my stuff decayed already, all the time and effort vanished into a laugh of the technical support.
the lesson here is: stay away from wildcard products, FUСΚ this game, it always run into a unvelibable issue
