Explore new heights and hidden depths in this expansive 150 sq. kilometer map where Survivors will encounter new biomes, challenges, and mysterious ruins! Whether it's exploring the valley of waterfalls, setting up your treehouse home in the Redwood Forests, getting down and dirty in the vast swamps, diving deep underwater, climbing snowy mountains, or caving, there's something for every Survivor out there! Arriving with the map will be 3 brand new real-world creatures, including the Amargasaurus and one chosen explicitly by the ARK community!

Lost Island and its creatures will be a free DLC coming to Steam, Epic, Xbox, PlayStation later this year!

wild.png
Of all the creatures in the sauropod family, Amargasaurus titanicus is likely the most unique looking. It sports two parallel rows of dorsal spines down the length of its neck, back, and tail--though the neck spines are significantly longer than the back or tail spines.  These spines are a remarkable adaptation, giving Amargasaurus unmatched control of its body temperature. Made even more incredible by their time on ARKs, these spines store both extreme heat AND extreme cold, effectively allowing Amargasaurus to live comfortably in any environment. Its sails also make it an abnormally capable swimmer, for a sauropod.

Unlike most sauropods, Amargasaurus is very prone to violence, attacking most predators (and humans!) on sight. I suspect this behavior developed alongside the dangerous spines it uses as weapons.

domesticated.png
Once finally tamed, it's no surprise that Amargasaurus' spines are its best feature. If removed early, their thermal storage becomes erratic, which is perfect for catalyzing sap development in many trees.

Some tribes, of course, adapted this thermal quirk for combat. By having Amargasaurus eject a spine before it sheds naturally, the freezing/warming waves that emanate from the spike play havoc with armor in the area. Interestingly, simple armor is barely affected, while more complex armor is more heavily affected.

Can't wait to tame the Ermahgerdasaurus.

Please make this a primal only map even if it has to be separate from the other maps. Real dinos only and no tek 🙏

Good work adding this mod map in. The modder stole the map of Tamriel and passed it off as their own work. Should've picked Fjordur instead.

Id love to see Ceratosaurus, somewhere between the size of a carno and magalosaurus a little slower then the carno. Since its jaws were better for meat slicing and not great for bone maybe make it really good at gathering meat maybe even gather raw meat from living prey unless you turn of gather and a charge up bite attack that can cause bleed equal to the giganotosaurus for 3 - 5 sec charge up takes 5 seconds, timer starts from scratch if interrupted. Lives in dense forest and red wood type habitats its slightly narrow body making it adept at running between dense trees. taming knock out with tranqs loses torpor about as fast as a spino tames with prime meat or  Extraordinary kibble regular raw meat has no effect (will eat any meat from troth after taming). saddle 1 person cannot use weapons while riding

Id love to see deinocheirus It be Bigger than a Therizino but smaller than a Spino and it could live in the swamp it should get a Buff called "My Territory" Gains 25% damge boost and a 15% resistance, alt attack should be a tail slam that causes knock back While locked in an animation it can also Snuff out vegetables when harvesting shrubs should be a passive tame with Exceptional Kibble and 2 people can be riding the saddle it is a Herbivore will eat any berry

WildCard, может ли это стать проблемой с законом?

Я просто хочу обратить на это ваше внимание.

the map is similar in silhouette, but nothing more, since I have already done the rest of the landscape with my hands. I think this should not be a problem, even the silhouette is not 100% similar, it will also be done approximately.

Sorry but is not WC fault if Fjordur didn't become a free dlc map.

It's up to the mod devs to decide if sell or not the map on which they're working. Nekatus said clearly he was not going to sell Fjordur (he totally didn't like how Valguero was treated). And indeed he keeps updating the map pretty often and with his own content.

Selling a map to be official means you have to give up to your original project and Fjordur has tons of DLC contents. It means WC has to cut over than half of the stuff in that map making another boring Valguero 2.0

Also, is never good saying bad stuff on other people. The person that worked on that map answered to this accusations.
