Pre-built pcs for ark gen2

I've been thinking about buying a pc for ark and other games cause of mods and my ps4 barely pulls 25fps on gen 2. My budget is about 1200 usd. I want medium settings on 1440p and 60 fps normally and around 30-45fps when I'm riding fast creatures like the new astrodelphis. I don't care about fancy leds or fancy cases I just don't want it to sound like a jet engine but run ark smoothly as possible. Thanks in advance.

Build your own if you can -- it'll always be a better rig.

If that isn't an option, look for something with these specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5600 or better

GPU: RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT

RAM: 32GB

For storage, a 1TB NVMe drive is your best bet, but at least get something with an SSD of 1TB or larger. Avoid mechanical drives at all costs (I can't believe prebuilt PCs even still come with these.) Your Ark load times will be horrendously slow.

Do you think those options will be in his $1200 budget?

i dont know about US but in uk websites like https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ is good thing to look up, put in what specs you want and it can show you the parts and how much new it will be, then look up those products for yourself.

linus tech tips is a great youtuber who can help you build it yourself.

can get one with 2 hard drives, a hybrid for your main os and general files and then a smaller SSD to store ark or other games on so you get the good boot speed

You should go for your own custom build. Pre-build PC are generaly less powerfull for the same price.
CPU, mobo and RAM won't be hard to find, personnaly I would go with an AMD zen2, any mobo goes, and 16Gb of RAM.
GPU will be another story... stock are limited and prices are currently inflated, even in the used market ! For your budget you will probably get something close to a gtx 1660.

I've been thinking on buying the surviver pc from apex. It seems to be a good price but I don't know that the stats are good for the price can anyons let me know. I boosted it up to 32 gigs of ram tho.

Until you plan to do heavy multi tasking on your PC, 32Gb of RAM is overkill. Here : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vFYPp2, took me 2 min to pick the parts and it's way better than the pre-build your are looking for. A decent PC case will add an extra 100$.
