Community Crunch 273: Summer Bash, EVO Event, and More!

Summer can officially begin with the start of the upcoming Summer Bash event! Get ready to soak in some sun and have some fun with a community-favorite ARK event.  From June 30th to July 14th the annual Summer Bash event will be underway.  Relax by the beach with your tribemates or go on the hunt for newly released chibi pets! However you choose to spend your summer in ARK, Summer Bash is bound to cook up a lot of entertainment.

Note that these bonuses are multiplicative of the game's standard 1x rates. 

• Official Servers: 3x XP, Harvesting, Taming, and Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus

So we didn’t receive an anniversary event this year and to add onto that we’re only getting double rates? Last year had a month of 3x now we get 2 weeks of 2x. Great deal, studio wildcard.

I was hoping for sandals or something for feet for the summer bash.

I'm more worried about getting fixed everything on gen 2 than for summer bash, we payed for a "worthy" expansion, quoting your twitter manager. And instead we got a half done one in consoles.

I’d be excited for the crunch this week and summer bash (prob one of my favorite events besides winter wonderland), IF there wasn’t this elephant in the room of the servers for consoles unplayable FOR ALMOST A WEEK! Then go get an evo event in the middle of it, that’s like putting a box of cookies in front of a kid but just out of their reach and not giving them one, but telling them they can have one!  People are getting pretty ticked, I know I’m one of em!  Then I see something on Twitter from a day or so ago that says console patch is coming early next week???  At this moment, I’m sure most of us don’t care about skins, chibis, Ark 2 news or hell even the summer bash event right now.  What we want is to know that you hear and acknowledge our outcries of server problems, and that doesn’t seem to be happening.   There’s no reason for servers to be this messed up for almost a week and the community to hear nothing but the sound of crickets on behalf of Studio Wildcard.  People are loosing things, tames, items and TIME on something we payed for.  You don’t go buy a car and pay full price and only get the 4 wheels and the engine, but that feels like what we have received.

Wasn’t this the Community Crunch where we would find out what creatures from gen 2 would be allowed on Aberration? I know there are some Dino’s being removed but what about the Maewing, at the very least.

It’s called precedent. They did it every year before, so we should expect it again.

Can we fix server. Multiple are locked to the player base. Our entire server has submitted tickets and no one has gotten any kind of response. Please help, we just want to play

Was really looking forward to enjoying summer bash but Crystal Isles server 1378 has been offline for 5 days or so and nobody can get in at all. Everyone on that server is going to lose their bases, tames  etc. People that logged off on the server can’t even get in to get their characters either

I’d imagine that will be a lot of people quitting the game  and not coming back. Lots of time and money spent all to be lost well played Wildcard.
