Help dumb Question about mod unpackaging - can I leave the login screen safely?

See mods installing down in the lower right corner?  This only activates when I open my Login Screen.  There does not seem to be any other way to get this to activate that I know of.  It is updating the mod.  Working fine.  No problems.  But silly question can I leave this screen while it is updating and the mods still update?  

Takes a long time and I want to leave shut ark go do something else will they still update if I exit?
