Volunteer Moderator GP Posted June 4, 2021 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted June 4, 2021 So as Genesis 2 introduces 10 additional levels for collecting all Explorer Notes from all maps, i'm curious as to why some are displayed differently, and how I can be confident that the game registers them as unlocked (in regards to the 10 levels progress). We have (in order of red dots): dark image with padlock and note name light image with no padlock and note name padlock only dark image with padlock, note name and dark tick light image with no padlock and note name, no tick light image no padlock, note name, and light tick So when I filter by "unlocked" the only one's it takes out are the "padlock only" ones. So that suggests to me I only need 2 more in Helena Walker on The Island. But does anyone have any idea why they appear so different?
SAS
IMHO The tick means you have tamed the creature. The lock means you haven't unlocked the note on that character but it was unlocked elsewhere and registered to your local player profile file. Volunteer Moderator GP Posted June 4, 2021 Author Volunteer Moderator Share Posted June 4, 2021 Just now, SAS said: IMHO The tick means you have tamed the creature. This is what I was thinking, it may register I unlocked them on single player, but not on the server i'm on. Going to do a quick test on one to see what happens when I visit it. SAS
I noticed this when testing freshly released Aberration. I had these "locked" notes on the map I just transfered to after I picked up a few while testing.
