Trying to substitute dinos on the center on my ps4 g portal server

I keep typing in the NPC replacement code and it WILL get rid of what i'm trying to get rid of. But it doesn't seem like it is replacing them with anything, for an example i tried to replace dodos with brontos just to obviously find out if i could, and i tried replacing ichthyornis with beelzebufos and now i don't have any dodos or ichthyornis, i was just hoping somebody could help me out i got rid of all the spaces and i am stumped as to why i can't substitute anything, i do believe the dimorphodons are working now but the others i don't think it has replaced them
