Ark 2..."squints eyes at WC"

So Iv been thinking about the upcoming ark 2 deal and taking notes from previous games using a big movie name to help them promote their games. {Gestures to cyberpunk involving Keanu Reeves} 
Its just a little too similar and I ponder how they would actually implement such characters into the game without it having some form of single player run through.....Honestly Id love to have a story line to run, a single player mode that offers more than a big open sandbox, but the game was developed with multiplayer in mind and due to that, the only route I could see that would possibly work out is some form of fallout 76 method, and we seen how well that worked.

In the end, Im just feeling a bit uneasy on what ark 2 will be like. Especially with how they have treated ark currently.....bugs, dumping good content in favor of new content, ect. ect.
And ontop of that, they seem to be following other failed ideas from other producers. Its not looking all too good. 😧

yeah, but not going to be my money. Not in the first month. Ill wait to see, much like cyberpunk.....which I still haven't bought yet.

Taking notes from previous games... So, one game? Hardly data to make assumptions from. 

As far as how to implement celebrity likeness without single player, have you played WoW? He could be in all the cutscenes, he could be a friendly NPC during instanced missions, and he can be there as an NPC before/during/after boss fights, in scripted story events. 

Think of the random missions in GTA5. Maybe now and again you come across him out in the world, where a scripted lore event can follow. Like Genesis 2 glitches, but more fleshed out and involved. You stumble across him near a Tek monument where he is trying to fix something and you have to defend him, or have to farm metal and hand it to him like a typical MMO quest, etc. He can be like a "class trainer" you go to or summon upon to learn new skills and engrams. 

And of course, his presence can be through explorer notes. They could even turn explorer notes into "Tek Data Orbs" or something, where each of them contain a cut scene, like a recording, instead of just text. Think Final Fantasy X and Jecht spheres.

Hope they took notes with other CDPR games, those were actualy fixed over time instead of getting old bugs back over and over again. And they also have a functional customer support.

If they follow that they might have money to follow.
