Zadira
Hi all, I am playing on the Fjordur map. I built a small dock with CKF settler structures in an area where I see some fish swimming. I placed down a chair and tried to throw out my fishing rod. I have my rod in my toolbar and have sap applied as bait. When I click my left mouse button nothing happens. I used to love fishing in Ark but haven't done it in a long time. Would a map or structure mod affect fishing?

I would think that's always a possibility. Have you tested on an official map?
Piffguru
are you too far above the water, if so then nothing will happen as you are saying. If you are close enough, and sitting and you look at the water and hit the button to cast, then it should cast.

The dock is a little above the water but I have fished a lot a while ago and not seemed to have that problem. Something like that might be map related though. I know I sometimes seem to be in the water but not able to drink until I go further in. Thanks for the idea!
DomiDarko
Had the same issue yesterday on the south western island on Fjördur. And I tried it on 5 different spots around the pond, so it has to be a bug.
