Vit0Corleone
So, today I died on Aberration red zone as a result of a Purlovia dismounting me from my Rock Drake. I was a bit surprised, as I didn't think they would be able to dismount me from a Rock Drake. Doing a quick googling around, it does seem that the Purlovia pretty much ignores the drake, so I'm not entirely sure what happened. My best guess is that I must have hit a purlovia, and another one buried close by attacked back. Could this have been the case? Are there any other known scenarios where a purlovia could dismount a player on a Rock Drake?
yekrucifixion187
That's probably what happened (hitting another Purlovia). Purlovia's can dismount you from anything if they have the right angle. I've been hit off the top of my Giga in the Forest Titan Cave because I didn't notice a Purlovia mound in the side of a wall I was walking by. zero064
I've died horribly in the red/radiation areas many times, but I don't ever recall a Purlovia dismounting me from a Rock Drake. As far as I know, they ignore you when you're on a Drake.
d1nk
Its possible you dismounted for a split second, they would aggro you and target you, mounted on drake or not
wizard03
If you attack one walking around and one is buried nearby, they will indeed jump out at you.... My mom was just going awall on everything as we made our way to the eggs and sure enough she had one knock her off after attacking one that was walking around...she didn't die as luckily the one that knocked her off was a very low level and her drake was set to aggressive, but it was indeed a learning experience.
