I would probably adjust stats so you are heavy in speed and endurance so you can shoot, run, repeat. I think the hard part might be the DPS you and two friends could accumulate before time runs out. I bet you could do it without tames, but even getting through the cave without a mount would be tough. The worms you meet in there do a lot of damage, and you'd probably have to be in fur armor, which makes repairs on the fly pretty much out of the question. I'd be prepared to die a lot. Once you get to the queen, she could one-shot you when she first pops up (depending on your armor and your stats). If you survive that, you could probably find ways to dodge her and take her down with weapons. You'd wanna have some good armor on for that part, and have med brew handy. I'd bring a good Tek suit.
