Tek Teleporter Vaporization

So I used a tek teleporter today, but instead of the usual flash then you're in a new place, the game sort of lagged, then everything around me started despawning, then the game decided I no longer existed and vaporized me and all my belongings (a giga in a cryopod, tek armor, being of note) and respawned me. There is no tribe log of a death.

I believe this was caused by me being slightly on top of my wyverns wing while teleporting. But really, is it that hard to set a persons x/y/z position to a new point?

Is there any way to get my stuff back?

The same happened to me yesterday on PVE officials, tele´d home and i died before i respawned in my base. Luckily nothing important on me, so only an armor set lost. No tame or other player nearby, just my char on the teleporter. I went back and forth but no bag or corpse found.

Same happen to me on genesis, once i use teleport and i lost skiff, my character hace teleprted but skiff was gobe and second time i use helena and i lost drake
