how would I tame a megalodon

I found a good meg saddle but hav never tamed a meg and was planing on getting one anyways can some one tell me what the best way to do that is

Use a crossbow and tranq it from the shallows. If you have flippers, you could just outswim it and KO it that way. Wouldn't recommend the harpoon launcher, it kinda sucks, but to each their own.

If you really want to trap instead of outrunning it, just use 3or4 stone gates on the ocean floor lure it in and shoot away.

Raft with a trap built underneath to shoot from,  and a helpful ( preferably not to bright) tribemate for bait to keep bringing them back when they start to swim away

You could ride good baryonyx because you can shoot while riding it and let it tank the megalodons bites.

Another way to tame a megalodon is this: If you have an ichthyosaurus(dino that looks like a dolphin), you can ride on the dolphin and shoot at the megalodon with a crossbow, and the dolphin is much faster than the megalodon so you won't have any trouble keeping up with  the megalodon, whether it tries to get close enough to bite you or tries to run away, you can outrun it easy.

For the future, you can use this too. If you can get your hands on a quetz, ride it to above to megalodon. Since you're above water you can fire darts at it until its down. I like to use a platform saddle and keep a pelagornis on it since I can easily land on the water to feed it.
