On many occasions I have noticed new players join official servers not knowing what they're getting themselves into. Most of them having less than 100 hours in a game have no idea about the other game modes available that would allow them to choose game modes more favorable to them and their experience.
The suggestion:
I think there should be a feature that asks new players questions to help determine which game mode is right for them on the server select screen - and then only show those servers. If none of the official game modes work the tool could even show un-official servers as well. This tool would also have information about each game mode so the players wouldn't have to dig through the Ark website to find the info.
