nek1802 Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Since a few months, i don't have sound in Ark and Atlas : - it worked fine on this pc - sound work fine with all of my other game - don't work with my old headset (usb) - don't work with classic headset (jack) - drivers updated - registry cleaner done - don't work in low memory mod - don't work with no battle-eye The game don't emit sounds in the windows equalizer. Probitas Posted November 24, 2020 Share Posted November 24, 2020 ARK loses sound focus all the time, especially when swapping out to something that uses sound as well. The only way to fix it is to shut it down and restart the game. It makes sense that Atlas does as well since WC coded that game from this games foundation. cratzy420 Posted December 2, 2020 Share Posted December 2, 2020 hello there, maybe master volume in both the games is disabled (in settings) did u try verify game files ? delete the config file and try launch the game again ? does it happend both in single player & multiplayer ? maybe you have something that lowers the volume of the 2 specific games like discord or something when u talk / or someone else talks are your audio drivers installed ? try to stream the game for yourself (locally ) and see if it outputs sound on another device(trough the stream) edit: if u play on extreme low settings game wont output any sound if u have a 2nd or third monitor try unplug it maybe fixes the issue if u have headset like razer with a software comming with them there should be a mixer for the games maybe its muted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Schneeti Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 Hello, since ~2 weeks I have no ingame sound (effects, dinos etc), but I still can hear ingame voice chat. It happens both on my Steam and Epic ARK Version. I already re-installed, verified game files, swiched ConsoleVariable.inis and User Settings around, updated my Windows, Audio and Video Drivers. neocirus Posted November 19, 2021 Share Posted November 19, 2021 I just got a similar bug in Atlas, I could hear music on the menu and during loading, but as soon as the game loaded it cut out. Turns out it was my mic built into the speakers. I went into microphone permissions and disabled it for all applications while the game was running and the sound came back.
