LingYun
Cloned dinos has the same status than the original? And can i clone clones?
Thyme
They are identical except for the fact they have no level ups or imprint. Leveling up a dino makes it more expensive to clone but the cloned dino doesn't even get those level ups. You can clone a clone
Messer
On some dinos i would not recommend cloning like a giga because without imprint its stats are droping massive.

Breeding for mutations can be made easier with the cloning chamber, if you have more element than time. Just clone several females to increase your breeding pool. Campi
Or if you accidently spayed your breeding dino you can make a clone as the clone will not be spayed.

This is not true. if something is spayed or neutered it will stay that way when cloned,

Spayed/Neutered creatures remain so when cloned.
