Regional color palette

Dinokingthe3rd

Suggestion

So a small suggestion is to make certain dinos spawn with certain colors depending on the biome. Ex: lets say a raptor spawns in the snow biome, and another raptor would spawn in the desert, the one in the snow area would have more white and lighter colors because it spawned in the snow, however, the one in the desert would have light oranges and sand colored colors because it spawned in the desert region. i am NOT saying to make new X variants for all biomes, I'm saying make existing dinos spawn with colors that match the region where it spawned. of course event colors would spawn in dinos regardless of region

As cool as this would be, some maps like scorched would be filled to the brim with uninteresting brown and orange dinos. Also consider the Island, which is like 70% forest, or Crystal Isles which is covered in swampland.

A feature like this would probably take a bit of coding too. Rather than just spawn Entity_Raptor, the game would need to see what biome the Raptor would be spawning in(Forest for example) and spawn an Entity_Raptor_Forest. Now imagine it having to do that for countless creatures in all the biomes of the game. That's a VERY watered down explanation of the coding that would have to go into that, and it probably could be done differently, but it would have to be done somehow.

Honestly, gonna have to say no overall. This kind of realism would only(Storywise) really be present on Extinction, as it isn't a controlled environment like the Arks and Genesis are.
