Suave
Hey everyone, my friends and I have been searching for some higher level spawns for a couple of days now and we cant seem to find anything above fifty. What I was wondering is if the server age or average player level has anything to do with the level the dinos spawn at? Any info would be great thanks in advance! Freya
Hello there! Well I am not very sure of it, but I somehow doubt that. I've been founding lower and higher level dinos everywhere even when I was low level. Doubt my reply is very helpful since it's not very accurate, but yea, it's from my experience I guess
Melkor
It depends on the servers diffuculty settings. By default its at .2 and produces dinos up to around 36-40. If its a non dedicated or private dedicated have the host crank up the difficulty. A difficulty at max, 1, produces max level dinos at lvl 120. However there is no option to kill off all the wild dinos with a server option or command. So you have to either cull all the dinos in a given area, say a spot where the type of dino you are looking for spawns, or wait for them to kill each other off. The more dinos in an area that die, the more chances a high lvl can appear.
OurGrid
You could try in the area of 50,50 aka the Twilight Zone, dinos that have been roaming the map for a while sometimes end up stuck and they get ported to 50,50 by the game as a sort of "coded-rescue", consequently we have found some high level dino roaming the river in the area. Max level you can find is indeed determined by the difficulty.. Difficulty Offset Difficulty Value Maximum Creature Level Loot Scale 0.01 0.5 15 50% 0.143 1.0 30 100% 0.286 1.5 45 150% 0.429 2.0 60 200% 0.571 2.5 75 250% 0.714 3.0 90 300% 0.857 3.5 105 350% 1.0 4.0 120 400%
