azurim
Can't join own server using Game Pass version I've run dedicated servers for many games in the past and never really had an issue, I'm assuming there is an issue with using the non-steam version of the game and running dedicated servers. Even using the console command "open ipaddress:port" just errors out a few minutes later whether i use my servers private IP (on the same LAN) or the public IP (figured this wouldn't work from the beginning). Any advice for connecting to my own server when using the game pass version of the game?
lpking2005
I also would like to know more about this. Has anyone figured out how to do it yet?
IanHighlander
True crossplay isn't available with Ark as such. The only "crossplay" that is available are: Xbox can play with the Windows 10 store version of Ark, not the Steam or Epic versions. The Steam version and Epic versions can crossplay with each other on a Steam server providing the server doesn't use mods of any kind and has a couple of config options set to allow connection from Epic versions.
