arkark Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 This server needs some kind of maintenance Hello, first of all, for those that may say use ark.gg/outage I did but obviously this cannot be explained in the small form so here I go. The physical server that host this servers EU-PVP-Official-TheCenter18, EU-PVP-Official-ScorchedEarth9, EU-PVP-Official-ScorchedEarth369 and EU-PVE-Official-GenOne647 has become very unstable since last week. 08/20/2020 -> Server was down for 7 hours 08/22/2020 -> Server was down for 8 hours 08/26/2020 -> Server was down for 2.5 hours 08/27/2020 -> Server was down for 5.4 hours The behaviour Im seeing is that the servers start lagging a lot and dissapear from the servers list, and they randomly appear with insane ping values over 500. Obviously when they appear and you try to connect you receive a timeout and are unable to connect. We suspect it may be some kind of DDoS this server is receiving related to the PVP servers that are on the same host and we the PVE server users are experiencing collateral damage. This makes breeding on that PVE server impossible or super risky. Please @lilpanda can you take a look at this server. Maybe its good idea to move the PVE out of this physical machine, in case you confirm it is a DDoS targeting the PVP ones. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
