Feeding trough indicator problems after update

All of my trough range indicators are turning on when i log in. They were not turned on when i logged out.

The menu has a "hide visible area" option. When I click on this the first time, nothing happens, and it still says "hide visible area". If I click on this a second time, the green circle of annoyance goes away. I have to do this for every single trough.

When I log back in later, they are all turned on again!

I have no mods installed, playing single player on the Ragnarok map right now.

Same here, steam version of ARK, playing "The Island" atm. Even without any mods.

I can disable the indicators on all troughs, i have to do this twice to make it work, and after next reload they are visible again.

They fixed something that was not broken. Regarding to patchnotes the troughs should _now_ remember the state of the indicator. Well, this worked fine _before_ this recent patch.

Thanks WC, your quality management is ... did it even exist? ?

By the way: steam forums have several threads like this, wc should have a look there:

I have the same issue but instead trying it a 2nd time I picked up all my troughs. -.- But thanks for the hint! ?

Yup, plenty of work going into killing dinos with mesh, but not this one.

Also agree this was never a problem. In fact, the first few times I accidentally turned these on and didn't know what I had done, I could relog to clear them. I only ever use these for checking range during construction. No idea why I would intentionally leave them up all the time.

Don't know if WC really knows how many people are playing on SP. I didn't like the server experience, but I'm 1500+ hours in on SP in just a few months. This is the first bug I've encountered that has me thinking of moving on.

Would be nice to have a setting to just disable this new feature.

Not meaning to necro but I am playing on a modded server without S+ and using a vanilla feeding trough. The green circles are driving me insane!
There are multiple circles! I can turn the visible area off and on several times but it only causes one circle to go away.  I am not the owner of the server so don't know anything about the settings. Why is this still broken?
Did anyone figure out a permanent fix for this?

Tried re-rendering? It worked for me in the past.

What is odd is that I have two troughs for the base. One is way far from the other and the circles do not overlap.
One trough puts out the multiple rings but the other trough only puts out one ring.

The multiple ring trough stays on no matter what I do but the single ring trough turns off when I click the area button.

We are not using S+ on this map and using vanilla stone and wood for our buildings.  This is just insane!
