I realize you posted this a bit ago but if you are still looking, and would be interested in a slightly different/more challenging Ark experience then maybe Secret Simplicity would be for you.

 

There is no Tek, and also no Tech (no Fabricator). Wyverns and Gigas can not be tamed. Structure resistance is 4x and a small boost to some multipliers. A more primitive game with higher dependency on Dinos.
