I want to set up a server for my friends and I to play cross platform. I know that the PC players need to buy the game from the Microsoft store to play with Xbox players. My question is, I have the game downloaded through Xbox game pass on PC. Does having the game this way work the same as buying it from the Microsoft store as far as cross platform playing, do I need to re-buy the game through the store?
