FlagrantVagrant
Mod for releasing dinos into the wild? Been searching for a mod that changes unclaiming to just releasing back into the wild. Anyone know of anything that does that?
Rio4201
Not sure that would be the right way to handle releasing them back. The server has a hard cap of how many wild dinos can be present on the map at any given time. Seeing how you'd be re=introducing dinos, that would effectively muck up the way the system works and probably wouldn't be something someone would want to set time to write/mod. FlagrantVagrant
Makes sense. Just don't like seeing wandering unclaimed dinos is all.
millwight
I too have pondered this conundrum. I've have given Dinos away and had to watch them slowly decay. At the hands of some ignorant Beach Bob. Maybe it's best just to euthanize them. I have come to the realization that giving creatures away is actually robbing them of that experience. The only thing I usually give away is eggs. FlagrantVagrant
I don't see how difficult it would be to release them back into the wild and if the limit of that animal is reached, then it will remain unclaimed until until another one of its kind is killed, then it will then go back to being wild. In doing so, it can no longer be claimed or tamed once released.
