kentiler Posted July 14, 2020 Share Posted July 14, 2020 ARK Client crashes for one user, but other is fine We are running a local ARK server with 4 players connecting. We have one user that as soon as he joins the session, the ARK client crashes - no error message - just goes away. We've tried on multiple computers and it follows the user. When another user logs in and connects from the computers the first user had tried, it works fine. That tells me it's not the computer or the ARK client. Larkfields Posted July 14, 2020 Share Posted July 14, 2020 It could be corruption on the one client. Open a DOS prompt as administrator, then... sfc /scannow When that finishes... Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth When both of those are done, Validate Ark's local files through the steam client - or Verify the installation if they're on EPIC.
