CaptainPeanut Posted June 20, 2020 Share Posted June 20, 2020 Alpha Bosses - Ragnarok and the island what kind of armor do i need on my saddles for the alpha bosses, i have 1 juty with 25k health, a daeodon with 15k health and the rest in food, and then 28 rexes with 30k hp and 800 melee mininum, what kind of saddle armor do i need to clutch all bosses of the island and Ragnarok on alpha (not the overseer) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rhinos/theris are typically better for dragon fight because they'll take less fire damage and can use veggie cake. Theris are the better of the two. Theris are the better of the two. Less fire damage does not apply to dragon boss. Breath goes through resistance and armor. Out of curiosity I tested it myself, and he was right. With a rex, theri, and rhino with identical hp, they all took the same damage from both the initial fire breath and the status effect. But mate boost and saddles DO reduce the damage of the breath itself, fire status effect will be unaffected though. All it says is theri have resistance against fireball under recommended tames rexes. Under strategy and recommended tames theri it says firebreath is 20% of anything max health and it ignores herbivore fire resistance and armor. Cakes can save your day on the end if the fight goes longer. However, pack of good deinos and ridden velos work suprisingly well also. Deinos bleed damage does short work of dragon. Seems wiki editing is needed. Lot of info that contradicts each other on dragon. Ill see if i have time to fix that soonish.
