Lag problem with dedicated server

Hi , I need some help , when 3 months ago i try to open ark server on my server and i found i big problem on my server is "lag problem"  my ark server use 12 mod and 13 plugin when player online 15+ on 1 map ping will up from 30 to 80-100 and lag every 2-3 min i try to do anything for fix it but It not working for me but lately i think i already found my problem because my cpu frequency too low for get player 30-50 on my ark server , So my question is all problem is my cpu frequency too low right ? if you need more information just tell me.

CPU : 2 x E5-2670v2 ( 20Core 40Threads 2.5 GHz)
RAM : 64 GB
SSD : 1 TB
OS : Windows Server 2016 R2 (on VM)
Network : 1 Gbps

Please advise. What should I do? , Thank.

The graph looks about right for your CPU.  Are you running anything else on there?

I don't think useallavaiablecores  works on the server.
You can't do much about your CPU clock frequency without getting a different CPU.  Overclocking isn't worth the effort and risks on servers.

Just a thought, but check your auto-save frequency.  I have my maps set  between 30 and 40 minutes.

On my server run only ark server manager
You mean auto-backup right ? if mean that i seting auto-backup evevy 3 hour

I've just re-read your original post.  You're running the server inside a VM.

Unless you have a good reason for using the VM, throw it away and run the Ark server directly on the computer.  The VM will be costing you some RAM and CPU performance and it's adding unnecessary complexity to your setup.

VMs are great in commercial environments where you need to separate applications for security reasons, or to reduce the box count in a server farm.
They're unnecessary if you're running game servers at home.

Yes my os server is vmware esxi but my server isn't set at home. But place the at the service provider for use colocation , can i add you steam of discord ?

I am having the same problem. My server starts with 20 Ping and little by little without people it goes up. A single server with 16 people can reach 100 ping quickly.

WorkStation HpZ620

CPU: 2 x E5-2696v2 (24Core 48Threads 2.5 GHz)
RAM: 64 GB
SSD M.2: 1 TB Samsung 970EvoPlus
SO: Windows 10 Pro for WorkStation
Red: 600Mb
5 Servers with 1 player only on my new Workstation

2 Servers. 1 of them Crossplay with a total of 11 players right now. I have got to have adding the 2 servers 140 players playing 90/100 ping.

I am also thinking that that processor frequency may be the cause of these problems. I have changed the Rj45 cable, my network adapter and I still can't find a solution.

Have you tried comparing the 2 CPUs when there are equal players, are they equal? , I want to know how much ping.

¿Has intentado comparar las 2 CPU cuando hay jugadores iguales, son iguales? Quiero saber cuánto ping.

No, I couldn't make that comparison. I have only seen the processor frequency go up at the moment I launch the 5 servers (2.45 GHz). Once the servers are available, it goes back down to (1.26GHz). This afternoon I will try to test with the same people.

I think you don't see any difference if tested 1 player. Try moving the data files of maps that have lots of buildings or dino to a machine with more speed GHz. I think it will see results.

Creo que no ve ninguna diferencia si se prueba 1 jugador. Intente mover los archivos de datos de mapas que tienen muchos edificios o dinosaurios a una máquina con más velocidad de GHz. Creo que verá resultados.

I give up with the problem, I am going to change the processors to ones with a higher frequency speed. I am reading forums where they say that anything below 3.5Ghz will give problems.
