CHMythic
Why??? Why do you change my game volume and graphics setting and key bindings??? Theres enough bugs in the game without messing up the graphics and control settings!
caleb68
config settins getting wiped is usually a result to the devs adding a setting to the config file, changing a settings name, or removing a setting from it. When the config file is altered during one of their patches, they overwrite your settings when the patch rolls out. Its a real pain in the arse, but they didn't code it to add / remove missing config settings from the file itself and found it easier just to overwrite it forcing you to redo your settings and keybindings every time that happens. wizard03
Us console peasents just got the ability to kill off the light bloom and a few other adjustments. Right after the update we had to readjust the settings just the same here. While a pinch of a pain, it is absolutely wonderful to actually have some abilities to turn things off and on like PC has. Pro tip, take a pic of your settings so you dont have to sit there muddling with them for 3 hours trying to get them right.

I would, but when there are new adjustments to play with, it never hurts to reset everything all over again anyhow.
