CrystalSpace
Consumables Trying my luck with making custom consumables, just not to sure how it works. I get the idea of it, but what do I have to do with the note? Do I have to write on it? How can I make my own recipes? How do you know how much of your ingredients to use? (Crops, meat, etc). Any insight would be great as I just learned this is a thing. Also being that I just learned this new info, no my crafting skill is not the best lol. TraXz
By using google you can come a long way: And here is a calculator if you want to optimize your recipes:http://www.gamewalkthrough-universe.com/Walkthroughs-Guides/Ark-Survival-Evolved/Calculators/Custom-Recipes/default.aspx Just keep in mind, the more items you use on the recipe, the heavier it gets. Zahlea
Just wanted to add this because I prefer the tool on the wiki: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Custom_Consumable#Ingredient_Effects The reason I prefer it is because it also gives a list of ingredients and what you can expect their effect to be. That way you take away some guesswork where you're just trying different ingredients and can focus on actually putting together the recipe you want. Thyme
Just a few tips, remember to use mindwipe tonics to max out your crafting skill. Element dust is one of the best things to use in a recipe, for both food and water. My recipe uses 5 dust and gives over 100 food/water.
