Alpha Reapers

Ive been looking for alpha reapers for the past 6 hours now and haven't found a single one. Looked at videos where people have found alpha reapers and still nothing. Has anyone got an idea of where they could spawn?

Everywhere on the 3 surface they can spawn. The spawn rate is just extremely low.

Hint: Use a fast mount to travel on the surface, for example: managarmr, and take a battle creature with you in a cryo. Search for alpha reaper at the surface and once you spotted one, just put your mana in a safe place and uncryo your battle dino to kill the alpha. You don't have to kill normal reapers to force new spawns. If you take normal reapers away from their spawn point, they will often disappear when you leave the render area.

Thanks for the help man. So are you saying 3 Alpha reapers spawn on the map, Or just 1 alpha reaper between the 3 surface?

there's only 1 on the map, could be on any of the three, though we have good luck on the NE one.  I just searched and saw one running around in about 30min of looking.
