Saddles are OP. Slap a 120 armor saddles on anything and it becomes like tank, especially on specific tames like stegos or paracers. I think it would provide a nice balance to the game to have saddles lose armor rating based on the amount of damage taken. It would vary between saddles rarity, where primitive saddles lose armor at a faster pace while Mastercraft and ascendant saddles lose armor at a much slower rate. it could look something like this:
Primitive: For every 10k damage taken, lose 6% armor rating
Ramshackle: For every 10k damage taken, lose 4% armor rating
Apprentice: For every 10k damage taken, lose 2% armor rating
Journeyman: For every 20k damage taken, lose 1% armor rating
Mastercraft: For every 30k damage taken, lose 1% armor rating
Ascendant: For every 50k damage taken, lose 1% armor rating
That's just a quick sketch of what I think it could possibly look like, obviously its open to change
