Remount
Unicorns do not increase the chance of twins or triplets After mass breeding thousands of dinos, I can safely say that Unicorns have no effect on the eggs producing twins and/or triplets. All I can find on the subject is one post on dodoex saying it works. The other 3 or so posts on dodoex are user posts (as well as the original) Does anyone agree or disagree? IanHighlander
Anyone telling you Unicorns have an affect on breeding are lying. Unicorns are white horses with horns, nothing more.

incarn
I wonder if we can get a DEV final answer on this? I see that Cedric has tweeted "No, there is no dino in ARK that has the ability to affect the chances of mutations, twins, triplets, etc. I just confirmed with design and QA" But it is not clear that "dino" also refers to mammals. i.e. the unicorn. So what does the oviraptor do then ?

Not clear? NOTHING AFFECTS IT. It's as clear as it can get. 41 minutes ago, XxxGodzxxX said: So what does the oviraptor do then ? The amount of egg's will be boosted slightly when a tamed ovi raptor is nearby, however the ovi raptors have to be set to wander. So you might wann put them into a pen nearby, or weighed down with stones so that they can't actually wander. The way I would run a kibble farm is to put my egg layers above a ramp so that the eggs would slide down the ramp and onto the floor, and then I would have the ovi's wandering around in a pen under the ramp. this way it saved room and got the ovi's as close as possible to the egg layers

"Dino" in the context of ARK typically refers to any creature. Dinosaur is a dino. Horse is a dino. Bird is a dino. If it's not a human, it's a dino. You got your final answer from Ced. All creatures are commonly referred to as dinos in Ark.
