Ive said it the past few days on h ere... NA-PVE-997 on PC has been down every hour. Some days its down every 30 mins. Whats most annoying about this isnt just the downed server, is the complete and absolute silence from WC and failure to acknowledge it.

Either they arent monitoring the servers at all, or have zero cares for their paying customers that they cannot so much as acknowledge the fact there is a serious issue affecting servers.

 

Think with your wallet when Ark 2 hype is out..

Lately the lag has been really bad. Wasnt like this on launch, but over the last few days the game has been just about unplayable.

Bounced around a few servers today just trying to find something stable enough to play the Survive the Ark mission to no avail.

DDos, duping, or just bad server performance on the games end ? Maybe all three at once ?

I don't know exactly what the cause is but I know what the result has been - me shutting off the game within 20-30 mins of turning it on.

Not exactly what you want to see in the 2nd week of the delayed DLCs launch.

Genesis 2 performance its horrible. We are playing all the time in 938 with 200-255 ping. Dinos just teleport and dissapear all the time. Even taming a bee becomes a challenge.

I think each bare metal server was hosting 3 servers before (27015, 27017 and 27019), but with genesis you seem to be running 5 servers or more in the same hardware (27015, 17, 19, 21 and 23) ? Whatever you are trying to do, probably with more powerful machines is not working at all, rendering to a very poor latency.

I am not sure if this is like a NORMAL thing... but in the last few days nothing has been said, or seemingly done to address this issue and it is getting worse. I downed a 150 Rex today at 1330 EST and because of the crashes and rollbacks I stopped even attempting anything for it today at 1800 EST... When I logged in today at 2200 EST the REX WAS STILL DOWN AND AT HALF TORP.... I hope reading that lets it sink in. We in the community of GenTwo995 would very much like for some kind of assistance or knowledge on even just if the issue is being looked at. I mean, this is more than a little ridiculous. Most of us have put quite a bit of work into the server through more tolerable crashes but for almost 3 days it has been 1 hour or 30min of UP TIME... Anything that you would provide in information would be great.

 

Also, we are aware that we are probably not the only server experiencing this, but I am pretty confident even those servers would like some kind of statement or post either telling us to just suck it up and transfer out or that someone is actually DOING something about it.

The center 77 is experiencing problems too, I made the mistake of transferring from scorched 134 this morning, transferred fine at my center base. Then lost connection and rollback occurred, now I can't find my player, there is not an option to download it!! I've lost alot of tames this past couple of weeks to all the issues, now I can't download my survivor! Frustrating is an understatement

Gen2 every minute or less the server crashes, it takes longer for you to join back then you get to actually play

Owing to the fact the Wildcard has made the decision to provide TWO OC servers, Im forced to play on an NA server.

Now, I dont care about the ping, the lag poops me no end, but the raptoring server will not stay up for more than 30 mins at a time. Now, this is unacceptable. I paid for this trash, with the purchase of Genesis 1. This, from a game at release? What a quokka poop. EA, and DICE on BF, have dropped turds. But Genesis Two? This is the biggest, steaming pile of Giga poop that I have ever seen.  The new Cyberpunk stunk like a rotting Turtle. But still, Genesis Two, stinks like a huge load of sweaty Giga testicles.

The raptorING game is UNPLAYABLE.

Every release, poop goes wrong. And we, the idiot players, lap it up, and tell ourselves, they'll fix it. But, THEY NEVER DO. Every map has issues. Every map has lag. 

WILDCARD FIX THIS raptorING ABORTION.

I'm sorry this is frustrating you. have you considered playing on unofficial servers? they are generally way better and more stable because you don't have hundreds of players trying to do laggy crap on them.  usually when i am unhappy with a free service i try a pay one so there is more accountability.

We shouldn't have to pay for the game play test it for them and then pay for a server because its still broke

The server crashes at least once every 30 min to a hour roll backs are common with the crashes and the game is pretty much unplayable. The server is just a chat room you cant go out of your base because you know the server will crash. It has been reported by many players yet there has been no noticable difference in the server and WC has not said anything about it. Would be nice to hear at least something from WC saying they are looking into it are they are working on it.

game crashed before i posted the above server came back up i joined and not even a minute later it crashed again so have to wait another 10-15 min for the server to come back up just to redo the same thing i have just done 3 times now.

The players have been play testers for Ark for 6 years now.

Also, you don't pay for the servers. They are not included in the price or the license of the game. You paid for the single player version. That's why they change, add and remove servers at will. Since you didn't pay for them, and WildCard pays to run them. They could shut them all down if they wanted to. Not that that would be good PR.

I run my own private Unofficial server and have a population of about 5 folks. We're trying to finish up Genesis part 1 and keep getting server crashes in the middle of the escort mission with the turtle. This happened 3 times last night and earlier in the morning only one person was logged in and the server died while he was swimming and he logged in dead because of the instability. Prior to Genesis II launch, my server was very stable, but post Gen2 launch I fear even attempting a mission.

Server NA Gen2 994 has been crashing regularly since this weekend . It was every 2-3 hours but now its onces or multiple times every hour, sometimes its back to back. We have had multiple instances of the server crashing 2-5 mins after reboot, stuck at same save point 4 times in a row.

The void wyrm breath causes players on both of my Nitrado PC Steam/ Epic Servers running Genesis 2 and Ragnarok both on server version 329.45.

In singleplayer there seems to be no issue with the void wyrm at all though.

Is this just an issue when playing on a dedicated server?

arkpoc genesis 1 server on pc keeps crashing and has horrible ping, was on my stalker and then the server crashed and died due to falling even though i wasn’t even on the server
