Anky and Doedic can't harvest metal and stone nodes

I'm in the biolume zone at 52, 33 and there are many metal and stone nodes that I can't harvest with my anky or doedic. This appears to be a longstanding issue:

I have already tried clearing out any preexisting shrubbery or mushrooms as others have suggested and sworn by but that doesn't help at all. I even used a stegosaurus to try and clear out anything I couldn't see. If I move my anky around to find a different angle that sometimes helps but it's far from surefire and does me no good when the anky is encumbered and can't be moved at all.

That doesnt fix this issue, which is about being able to hit them at all, its been around like since aber release(?) where anky and doed cant hit some nodes in blue zone

I farmed a bunch of stone with my doedi today using the crab. Maybe there is something wrong with the server i don't know? As far as not be able to hit some blue nodes that has always been a problem since release most likely will not change. Try hitting at different angles.

@BornSlippy I've tried all of that. There are specific nodes that don't appear to be harvestable at any angle with ankys or doedics. I'm aware that different angles can work in some instances but it doesn't work in all of them. This still needs to be fixed because it makes harvesting take much longer and is far less efficient. The more attention this gets hopefully WC will notice and do something about it.

@Ultradmb That is not at all what I'm looking for. That setting has to do with dinos harvesting dead dinos. My issue is that I can't harvest resource nodes.
