Daniel_King
So I've just completed the overseer on the island and I know the next map in the story is SE. But I'm wondering is it even worth playing/completing? Does it give any new tek engrams or engrams that will be useful on other maps once I've completed it? I've watched various videos on SE now and I can see the conditions are harsh which can make life difficult with power cuts and heat waves ect I'm just thinking if I'm not gonna get any new tek engrams out of it shall I just skip it? What's everyone's thoughts?
Jozek
If you are playing ARK story, go to scorched earth too. It's not easy map but in my opinion it makes it more interesting. It's always different experience. Also, a lot of usefull items are added in this DLC. Chainsaw, whip, flamethrower, flame arrows. And wyverns, believe me you want to get one! Aylana314159
SE is a good map for survival. It's fun for a fresh start because it's so challenging, but the challenge has been nerfed over the years. It's also the original wyvern experience.
Daniel_King
That is a very good point be nice to earn a wyvern on the original map for them, plus I think I'll always look back and wish I had completed that map as well. Also didnt realise there was so may good engrams from that dlc, cheers guys
warfin74
Little late but I almost exclusively play SE because it is not pillared to all h3ll and back. Easy to get a decent location. Tek gens are easy to use as well with no environmental decay.
