Olivar
Breeding Tek-Rexes for Gamma Boss fight with Mek Hello, our mini tribe has started breeding rexes to prepare for the Gamma boss-fight in Genesis. But we're kind of wondering what stats we should be putting on our Tek Rexes? Right now we're looking at the following options, based on various video's and discussions: 30k health, the rest in melee 40k health, the rest in melee We will be using a Mek in the fight with the shield strategy, so we'd like to adjust our Tek Rexes to that approach. A Squeakysaurus will also be part of the setup. Tips, advice anyone? Stats Input Received 25k Health / 700% Melee , 80-ish Armor Saddles : 11 Rexes lost Deduced Information < 25k health is not sufficient < 500% melee damage is not sufficient

Not sure how to deal with this. Does that mean we can deploy one outside and teleport it in ?
Castlerock
Its drag weight prevents it from teleporting into other boss arenas, so i assume it might be the same for this boss fight.
Olivar
Great, that means we'll probably never get this fight done.... We're three people, and I'm not sure how we can handle the lasers and Giga's this way....
Olivar
Today's results: We reached the final phase pretty easily The damage / amount of enemies becomes too much however. We actually did a test afterwards with 20 Kentro's to test theory about their pack bonus and damage reflection : We lost several in the first phase already. They simply are too slow in killing stuff, but did reach the final phase thanks to their veggy cakes. Next test for us will be either getting mutations on our rexes, or attempt the fables Tickle Chicken Army™
Darkholis
I'll be doing the theriz army this week with a tribemate. We'll see how it goes.
TorakWolf
I have tested Kentros, and if you command them well enough, none should die before the last stage. They are not adequate to fight Avatars! Either bring mounted Rexes or Theris for this task. Meks cannot be deployed on this boss anymore (unless you try the cripod exploit, which is unreliable). Instead, breed good Feroxes and slap solid helmets on them. Finally, forget Gamma. Beta is the same deal but with more boss HP. You should only try Gamma if you are not with adequate Pump-Action Shotguns to drain its life, but even so, it's not a good idea to face this boss without adequate shotguns, be it Gamma or Beta. Olivar
Define a "good Ferox". Also, do you still need to dismount on the Ferox to pick up the code fragments? And doing Beta? That's not happening. We simply don't have the dinosaurs or people to complete the amount of missions required to unlock Beta. That's simply not doable. Olivar
Tried with Therezino's and another Rex army. There's simply too much going on in the final phase, and with the restriction on no more mechs etc this fight is a joke.

It only lasts so long against reapers and those drones. At some point you just get swarmed really. 35k health rexes do last as long as the Therozino's do, but so far we can't get the boss down. Olivar
new attempt with three people and Tickle Chickens: Failure again. Just getting dismounted and one-shotted by reapers. And that's with full Riot ascendant set with over 700 armor per piece.
