But is there a chance for a Mac to connect with a Inofficial (rented) Server? If not, that would be sad, but i maybe can play on a weaker windows pc. The patch 306.1 is unique to itself in the fact that it refuses to connect to any server, even if the server is also on patch 306.x. Question 2: It depends mostly on the computer the server is hosted on, though usually most unofficials will run better than officials simply due to having less people on them. If you cannot connect to official servers, you're unlikely to be able to connect to unofficial servers either. Unless someone runs a mac/linux community and prevents the server from updating to remain playable for mac/linux but unplayable for PC. Single player mode is your best option.
