Thebovin
Cross-Play?? I would like to know how i can play with an xbox one user. I own Ark on Steam. I also have Ark on the microsoft store due to the gamepass. My Kids play Ark on the Xbox One via splitscreen. I would like to know how i can play Ark with them from my PC while they are on the Xbox one?? There is almost ZERO information on how i can do this. Also, is there ANY way that my kids can use any mods????
PertySlick
The crossplay version (Xbox and Windows 10) cannot use mods. The Steam version will not be able to join either. Joining each other is as simple as one of you hosting a game and the others joining either via an invite or through your friends list. If you play a non-dedicated server game however, you will be tethered to the host and this is pretty limiting. Hope this helps.
Thebovin
See i was able to see their game one time but every single time i tried to join it, it would just tell me unable to join game as soon as i tried to join it.
GrumpyBear
Theres a few issues getting it to work. You can try having them invite you to the game maybe. I found when I first started playing it hosting on my pc or using another pc as a dedicated server using my wifes login worked. We weren't able to get the xbox to host it consistently.
