Akarulez
No matter how much time I tried to tame a Basilisk on Genesis after the update, it just doesn't want to eat any egg that dropped from me. Anyone know how to tame a Basilisk if I am doing something wrong or is it still hella bugged?
caleb68
on abberation, what we would do to tame a basilisk is get a small pet, like a dodo or otter, toss it on the ground somewhere near where we were going to attempt to tame the basilik, then place a metal foundation ontop of that dino. this would essentially be the trap for the basilisk, after doing that we would lead the basilisk to the foundation, and it would focus on the small dino but never be able to bite it. then on a dino it would ignore (like the reaper) we would toss out eggs onto the foundation one at a time, and wait for it to eat the egg or the egg to despawn before tossing another. the frequency that it ate the egg was never the same. I don't know if there are any tamed dino's on genesis the basilisk ignores.

Vulfpeck
Yeah same here. Just trapped a 145 and it wont eat, yet the 130 I had in would but got its effectiveness destroyed after 2 eggs. Not like I'm surprised though, this whole expansion reminded me why anything wildcard releases is never worth the money.

Rio4201
They still ain't eating the dang eggs, I have literally been waiting over an hour for it to eat just 1.. I finally go out and brave it to get one, drop my bulbdog, foundation and eggs, aggro the darn thing to it, and it's just sitting there.. a 150 female with great stats .. so tired of broken crap in this game. Yggdrassil
Recently tamed 2, found that you need to drop a few eggs around and kite the thing around the eggs for a while, they eat 1 every 4 mins or so but keep them agro'd on you or it will burrow. GrumpyBear
If the basilisk is busy attacking the trap, it won’t eat. It needs to be focused on you or an animal.
