Invisible Bloodstalker web

Recommended Posts

I have had this same issue for a while, I have had many of my friends have this dilemma for ages too. It is just an annoying visual glitch and no matter how hard I have been doing research and experimenting myself there is no reasonable way to fix it as we know.? I'm sorry for the letdown it is really hard to manoeuvre around the map without knowing where you are attached to. The best hope we have Is that Wildcard realises the issue in the next bug update which may be a little while.? As a substitute for the Bloodstalker I would recomend using a 100% Addicted (if possible) Ferox,  It makes up for the lack of attack the Bloodstalker has and can manoeuvre around the biomes relatively quickly.  ? Wish you all the best in your Survival inside the Genesis Simulation!

I have removed Save directory from ShooterGame directory, and started new single player game (The Island). In the new game, webs are visible. Then I have restored Save directory with old data and replaced Config directory with the new version, webs are not visible. So, this problem is not connected to configuration, it is connected with game word data (save).

Only very small part of web is visible:

You can also start game on a new map (e.g: Rganarok), transfer all the object to the new map. Then you remove the data of a not working map, and start game on this map. Bloadstalker web should be visible (tested it). Then you transfer back all the objects.

How do you move objects to a new map? Do you mean moving the saved files or using in-game methods like the obelisks?

Good news.  I have a fix for the invisible bloodstalker web.  The invisible web is due to a faulty pixel shader, which means it can be fixed outside the main game.  To make the web visible again, first install 3Dmigoto:

https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases
into the folder: Ark\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Then download the fixed pixel shader here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/91kd1ci6mea6r44/57380ed7afe8fd69-ps_replace.txt?dl=0

and drop this file into the folder: ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShaderFixes

Start the game, and the webs will be visible again.  Enjoy!

Nope.  It's legit.  3Dmigoto is free and open source.  It's designed to fix shaders like this, usually for stereoscopic games.  And the shader itself is a simple text file you can open with Notepad+.  Have a look at Helix Mod for some of the games fixed with 3Dmigoto.  I'm the one that fixed ARK, btw.

Am I supposed to do anything with the dll file because the web is still invisible after doing what you said.

Unzip the 3Dmigoto files.  Open the 64 bit folder (assuming you are running 64 bit ARK), and place all those files in your ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 folder.  Take the .txt file you downloaded from dropbox, and place it in the ShaderFixes folder.  Start the game.  You should see some text in green overlaid on the regular game - that means 3Dmigoto is working.  Numpad "0" toggles this text.  The web should then be visible in the game.

That fixed it. Thank you for the help!
