Genesis Flyer Mount Disabled

Tamed a Tapejara on Genesis. Only allows me in the passenger seat. Waste of time because of course I didn't see this thread until I looked it up. Why bother allowing flying creatures if there is no benefit to having them?

You can break the barrier of not being able to fly if you go to your mount and type in the console Forcetame, this will make them able to be ridden.

Close out of the game completely.

Add an .ini option to allow mounting flyers on Genesis with the line bForceCanRideFliers=True , in your GameUserSettings (search your game folder for it. It won't take the computer long to find), under [ServerSettings].

I'd recommend making a back-up of the file if you're not used to making changes like this. Save document. Find the file in it's directory, right click and and under Properties make the file read-only. I had it revert to its original form on me until I put that measure in place.

And voila! Flyers can be naturally tamed and ridden on Genesis

not a bug just a strait up dumb rule, cant even ride them in single player. im on ps4 so i cant even force allow because the command isent on it yet. huge disappointment should have just saved my money and got extinction.

So I just talked an Argy in the winter biome, saw a post saying you can use the cheat "cheat forcetame" on a flier and it will allow you to fly, so I unclaimed my Argy, tried to use the code to "reclaim" it, and it didn't do anything. So I just claimed it again by pressing the prompted button and it came up saying I can fly it! I suggest trying to unclaim your fliers, then reclaiming them!
